Join us throughout 2025 as we bring the heart of Italy to your table with our Sagra Series – a celebration of regional flavors, seasonal ingredients and timeless traditions. Each month, we will spotlight a different Italian sagra, offering unique dishes inspired by the vibrant festivals of Italy.
This month, we’re celebrating the Sagra Dei Porcini!
The Sagra del Funghi in Cusano, Italy, is a festival honoring the rich variety of wild mushrooms from the surrounding Apennine forests. Established in the late 1970s, it pays tribute to local foraging traditions and the community’s deep bond with its natural landscape. Each year, visitors gather to savor mushroom-based dishes crafted from time-honored recipes, while enjoying music, folk performances, artisan markets, and guided walks that showcase the cultural and ecological significance of these treasured fungi. In honor if this Sagra, we’re featuring a menu that highlights the Porcini mushroom.
